My name is Johanna, and I am the creator of Amya & Me. Amya & Me is a small family-owned business located in the Mid-North Coast, NSW. In 2020, I was a very busy mum of three busy boys, working as a registered nurse at my local hospital when the dreaded Covid-19 hit our small town. My husband decided to look after our boys at home while I worked long hours. Even though social distancing was a must outside of our home, my husband and I did not do social distancing very well and we welcomed our first daughter Amya into the world in 2021.

Although living in a small regional town has its perks (like lots of open spaces, short drives to several beautiful beaches and spectacular wildlife) we are very limited in where you can purchase beautifully styled baby toys. After having 3 boys, I was so excited to finally be able to purchase those cute girly toys that I had admired for so long. I spent many long nights breastfeeding and looking at online stores wishing that I could just go out and buy them. When I mentioned this to my husband (and because he is so very smart) he suggested that I open my own online store that offered all of the things I was adoring online, and so Amya & Me was created.
